PNW Visiting Vet was founded in 2015 by Dr. Melissa Stephenson and Dr. Robin Bertke. They worked together in private practice for almost a decade and realized that there was an alternative solution to treating pets and making their owners lives less stressful. Both doctors were extremely interested in being able to provide full medical care to pets in the comfort of their own home. While preventative care is extremely important, they realized the most challenging time to get your pet to the veterinary facility is when they are sick or at another facility (boarding, doggy day care, the groomer, etc.).
So, in addition to providing routine vaccinations and wellness care, their main focus is to bring full service, progressive diagnostic capabilities, surgical procedures, and high quality digital x-rays wherever they are needed. Dr. Stephenson and Dr. Bertke will give you their complete, undivided attention during their time with you and your pet.
End of Life Care:
Unfortunately, you may be faced with the difficult decision of saying goodbye to your pet. We will be there to make this experience as comfortable as possible so that your final memories of your pet will be good ones.
*Burial and cremation
*We provide the required documentation and health certificates necessary for domestic and international travel.
We can provide emergency care on a case-by-case basis, but some care is more appropriately managed at an emergency care hospital.
